RV Water Filter
Cartridges - Clean Safe Water
Whether you live in your RV, or you only just use
it for recreation, you have
probably have encountered the foul taste and smell
of the potable water supplied at some of the RV parks. You never know what type
of water source is being used to bring this utility to each of the sites, but
you do know it isn't something you want to drink. That's why it is a good idea
to always have some RV water filter cartridges along for the trip.
Many people have taken to buying bottled water by the case, just to have a
supply of what they think is safe for drinking. But, when traveling with an RV
arrangement, every ounce of weight can add up and reduce your effective fuel
mileage. By simply installing a water filtration system in your RV, you no
longer have to buy water to drink.
When it comes to things that are out of sight, they are often out of mind, as
well, and most RVers seldom think about what can be floating around in their
potable water tanks. There has to be an air vent for the device to function
properly, and that small space has enough room for all kinds of things to get
into your drinking water.
If you have a filtration system in your RV, you can be reasonably sure that the
water coming out of the tap is safe enough to drink. But, why stop there when
you can be sure it is safe and have another filter connected to the kitchen
faucet.
For those who enjoy RVing it is important to have access to safe water, and just
because it is inside a potable water tank doesn't mean it is necessarily safe to
drink. This is another application of why you need to keep RV water filter
cartridges in the rig when you travel.
